The rapid development of digital technologies is transforming the research, design, manufacturing, and application of high temperature materials. Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, digital twins, advanced modelling, and additive manufacturing are opening new opportunities for improving the performance, sustainability, and manufacturing efficiency of such materials.
To highlight these advances, High Temperature Materials is pleased to hold a Special Issue entitled: Digital and Intelligent Technologies for Advanced Ceramic Materials
This Special Issue aims to bring together researchers from academia and industry to present the latest developments in digitalization and smart manufacturing of ceramic materials. It will provide a comprehensive platform for discussing innovative methodologies that integrate data-driven approaches, computational tools, and intelligent manufacturing strategies to accelerate the development of next-generation ceramic materials. We welcome original research papers, short communications, review articles, and perspectives that demonstrate innovative methodologies and practical applications.
The Special Issue welcomes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
Keywords:
Industry 4.0, Additive Manufacturing, 3D printing, ceramic Materials, ultra-high temperature materials, artificial intelligence, digital twins, 3D modelling
