Announcement of new Editors-in-Chief

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new, open access journal, /Intelligent and Sustainable Manufacturing/.  Prof. Dr. Changhe Li and Prof. Seeram Ramakrishna are serving as Editors-in-Chief.  

Prof. Changhe Li is a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, a Highly Cited Chinese Researcher of Elsevier, a distinguished expert of Taishan Scholars in Shandong Province, member of the Standing Committee of the Abrasive Processing Professional Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, member of the Standing Committee of the Optical Finishing Professional Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, one of the World's Top 2% Scientists 2022. He is rated as Shandong Excellent Inventor, Shandong Excellent Scientific and Technological Worker, Shandong Famous Teacher of Teaching and Shandong Excellent Postgraduate Instructor. He has published 247 SCI/EI-accepted papers, including 77 in SCI/JCR(1-2), and 50 ESI highly cited papers, 20 hot papers, with a total of more than 11,224 citations (Web of Science), and is ranked 25th in the list of academic influence of scholars in China in 2022 (only 70 people in China in the field of mechanical engineering). He is selected as the 24th academic influence of domestic scholars in 2022, and has a high academic status and popularity in the same field at home and abroad. He is granted 69 invention patents in the United States, South Korea, Australia, etc., 52 PCT international patents, 117 national invention patents, and 56 software copyrights. He is the Editorial Board member of Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering and Green Manufacturing Open, Guest Editor of International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, and Associate Editor of Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering.

Prof. Seeram Ramakrishna, FREng, Everest Chair is a world-renowned poly-disciplinary professor of materials at the National University of Singapore, which is ranked among the top ten universities in the world. He is named among the World’s Most Influential Minds (Thomson Reuters); Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers in material science as well as cross-field categories (Clarivate Analytics); and World Top 100 Scientists 2023. His publications to date have an H-index of 182 and 162,519 citations. He is an elected Fellow of UK Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng); AAAS; ASM International; ASME; and AIMBE, USA. He is an Editorial board member of NPJ Urban Sustainability journal; Materials Circular Economy, Current Opinion in Biomedical Engineering, eScience journal, and Advanced Fiber Materials journal.
